美国安全攻防教授：GeekPwn打造独特黑客文化

　　在刚刚结束的GeekPwn智能硬件破解大赛上，来自美国中佛罗里达大学安全攻防实验室教授金意儿现场破解当今最火智能家居产品GoogleNest智能恒温器，控制恒温器的显示屏幕，使其展示出各种神奇的图案，成功打响破解挑战赛的第一枪。
　　经GeekPwn组委会的同意，记者联系金意儿教授向他了解参加GeekPwn的感受与收获。金意儿教授首先透露参加GeekPwn的原因，“我是从赛事组织者那里听说有这个活动，很高兴国内在智能设备安全领域有这样的活动，为表支持所以欣然参加，并希望能够借此机会认识国内在这个领域的研究人员。”
　　据了解，GeekPwn是全球首个关注智能生活的安全极客嘉年华，首次将目光聚焦在智能家居、智能穿戴、智能终端、智能交通、智能娱乐等五大智能生活安全领域，旨在通过活动吸引一流的极客发现智能设备存在的安全问题，推动设备厂商及时修复存在的问题，从而进一步增强产品的安全性，为普通消费者的使用安全提供保障。
　　随后记者向金意儿教授询问选择攻破谷歌Nest的原因，金教授说：“我领导的实验室主要从事硬件安全工作，包括对智能产品进行安全分析和保护用户隐私，这一块工作切合这次比赛的主题，所以就选择了我们最近的一项工作来参加比赛。”
　　当记者问金教授参加此次比赛最大的收获与感受时，金教授表示，最大的收获是认识许多国内从事智能生活安全领域的研究人员，同时也被国内安全领域研究热情所感染。下一届GeekPwn不仅自己会参加，而且会带上学生一起感受比赛现场的氛围。
　　众所周知，国内外对信息安全的关注还存在较大差距。对此现状，金教授表示乐观并称国内信息安全行业最近有了较大的发展，希望安全从业者能抓住机遇，通过GeekPwn这样的活动快速构建起独特的黑客文化，最终将黑客技术更好的服务于广大用户。
　　笔者认为，GeekPwn不但在中国打造了一个世界级的安全赛事平台，更为国内外黑客间的交流，搭建一个连通的桥梁，一方面让国内的选手了解到国外最新的安全技术与发展趋势，另一方面让国外了解国内安全研究人员的技术实力与成果。
　　值得一提的是，GeekPwn并不只是在比赛这两天，为了让更多的极客技术爱好者能够更好的接触、了解黑客技术，GeekPwn在硅谷、北京、上海等多地建立了11所联合实验室，爱好者可以到实验站体验学习，甚至可以到GeekPwn主办方KEEN公司实习。

在10月24号的GeekPwn到来前，主办方——来自Keen Team的创始人大牛蛙希望我能为GeekPwn写点东西。作为GeekPwn的顾问，我也非常乐意为这次首秀做一点事情。
正如之前提到过的，大牛蛙第一次找我聊GeekPwn的想法时，我就被他打动了。之前大牛蛙创办的Keen Team参加过两次Pwn2Own大赛，并连续在与全球顶级的竞争中攻破了Mac等系统夺得了冠军。但大牛蛙想做的事情却远远不是一个Pwn2Own而已，在他的观念中，Pwn2Own太过于小众，全国能玩这些技术的人可能一个教室都坐不满，而我们的生活中又有太多的东西值得去Hack。
他跟我坦承，Keen的平均年龄已经不小了，他更希望把机会留给年轻人，为他们提供一个环境，给他们一个表现的舞台。再加上Keen最近正好得到了某巨头的投资，所以他希望能用这些钱，支撑真正有才华的人去做想做的事情，为此不求盈利，能烧几年是几年。因此他开始筹办GeekPwn，希望把这些真正的Geek找出来。
为此他还买了一辆，停在楼下，连线都接好了，就等人来Hack。一辆特斯拉价值不菲，而且没有赞助，即便是市场费用也过于奢侈，我自问为了技术的追求我做不到这样子，所以我由衷佩服大牛蛙的胸怀。
说到Geek，《经济学人》杂志曾经这么评价：「那些Geek极客可能在学校不好过，他们被运动员嘲笑，在聚会中被忽视。但现在任何正儿八经的组织想要蓬勃发展都离不开他们。」
我理解的Geek精神，就是那种为了追求技术极致而放弃其他一切的精神。有意思的是，这种舍弃并不存在着任何的痛苦，反而乐在其中。他们可能放弃了医生或律师的职业、放弃了和女朋友看电影逛街的时间、甚至是放弃了学业和高薪，但当他们沉浸在自己世界中的那一刻，他们就是这个世界的王者。只有专注才可能让人缔造伟大。
在人类历史上，推动文明进程的永远不是朝代的更替与军事的胜利，而是一次次的科技进步与技术的发展。正是科技的进步造就了我们今天的生活，科学家才是真正的伟人。而这些科学伟人们大多是天才或疯子，他们的血管里流淌着Geek的血液。
美国的莱特兄弟在1903年制作出了真正意义上的第一架飞机「飞行者一号」，并试飞成功。
莱特兄弟自小就酷爱捣鼓机械和动手制作小玩意。但鲜有人知的是，莱特兄弟并没有什么文凭，维尔伯.莱特曾经在曲棍球受伤后失去门牙，自此后就变得沉默寡言，并深居简出，也放弃了去耶鲁升学的计划；而奥威尔.莱特则在高三就辍学开了个印刷厂并尝试办报。
此后出于对机械的兴趣与爱好，两兄弟又尝试开了个自行车修理厂，并曾经一度想过制作汽车。直到1896年两兄弟听闻德国航空先驱李林达尔在一次滑翔飞行中遇难的消息。正常人听到这条消息肯定都会认为滑翔飞行非常不靠谱，但莱特兄弟却从中看到了机会，他们认为人类进行动力飞行的基础实际上已经成熟，只是需要一些机械装置来帮助人们更好的操作飞行器。而李林达尔的飞行器是通过人的身体挪动来进行平衡，这完全可以通过机械来替代。
自此莱特兄弟开始了漫长的研制。在1900年到1903年间，他们制造出了3架滑行机并进行了1000多次滑翔飞行，还制造了200多个不同的机翼并进行了上千次的风洞实验，在此过程中，也修正了李林达尔的一些错误数据。最终在1903年的12月17号，「飞行者一号」试飞成功。在当天的最后一次试飞中，维尔伯.莱特用59秒飞了260米，人类动力航空史就此拉开帷幕。
我们今天回顾这段历史，仍然难以想象在那个年代两个自行车修理工是如何凭空造出飞机的，这就像神话一样充满了奇迹色彩。但它就这样发生了！
莱特兄弟终生未婚，这是两个标准的Geek，他们把毕生的精力都奉献给了航空事业，奉献给了技术。但他们只是这个领域的先驱，在他们之后又有成千上万的科学家和工程师在不断的完善和改进着一项项的技术，攻克着一个个的技术难题。正是有了这些无名英雄的奉献，才最终有了我们今天的航空事业，才让我们可以在数个小时之内就环绕地球一周。
在每个时代都有Geek的存在，他们才是推动人类文明往前发展的动力。Geek们极具想象力与实践能力，所有世俗的眼光都无法束缚住他们对技术的渴望。Geek们不问出处，在中国最优秀的黑客中，有做网吧网管出身，有做妇科医生出生，还有割包皮出身，很难想象他们是如何走到一起的，但这却就这样发生了。
现在，是我们发现更多Geek的时候了。埋没在人群中的Geek们，你们的默默无闻可能是对整个人类社会的最大浪费，你们私下里制作或Hack的小玩意可能会在七年或十年后改变整个世界。我们并不认为每个人都有潜质成为Geek，直到我们看到你对技术的渴望，以及对极致和完美的追求。

其实今天是想跟大家说，故事一里那个一群人”在找同类。当然故事一的产品是为了让大家觉得好玩，技术上比较初级，体现不出他们的水平，杨姐就再说一个例子：
去年在计算机安全领域有一场全球顶级黑客比赛Pwn2Own（就是从攻破Pwn”到占有Own”），是全球最顶级的黑客竞赛，由谷歌、微软这些顶级公司赞助。
规则是，谁能控制最新的设备谁就能赢得比赛——这个比赛是很难的。
Keen Team利用一个漏洞从刚拍完照的一部刚刚开箱的新手机里面拿出了照片。
今年Keen Team参加了温哥华的Pwn2Own，能像Keen Team这样发现漏洞，能够做到这一点的队伍很少，因为三年之内手机CPU换了，攻破难度更大。
有一支国内有名的安全团队，他们也想尝试攻破苹果手机，因为他们看Keen Team在Pwn2Own上的比赛照片，但是因为CPU有变化，他们没有成功，最后就没有参加。
而Keen Team今年温哥华比赛把微软最新的笔记本也给攻破了。
有个牛人说，能不能在中国办一个Pwn2Own？
所以Keen Team的王琦就说，中国玩这样的人，不超过100号人，不过我们要做这样一个比赛极棒GeekPwn，让技术大牛都浮出水面！
所以，如果你是中国的黑客，请在10月24日-25日到北京来。
极棒嘉年华的活动规则就是没有规则”，大会组织者将只出设备不出题，欢迎各种新奇项目和想法。极棒组委将负责提供系统版本更新至9月30日的智能设备，由极客们进行现场攻破展示。
遇有重大信息系统事故或突发事件，公司应该按应急预案快速响应处理，并按规定及时向安全管理层报告。
报名将于9月30日截止，报名参赛的选手需要交纳1024元注册费。

据悉，极棒（GeekPwn）嘉年华只提供五十张外部的观众门票，票价高达一千美元。同时还将出售三名VIP门票与Geohot 进行一次交流谈话，售价为每人一万美元。
注意，这些人都是顶尖聪明的人，绝对不好骗。
Keen Team发现的苹果漏洞是苹果整个安全团队的两倍还多，同时还因攻破号称最安全的苹果iOS7操作系统成为全球顶级安全竞赛Pwn2Own安全大赛的全球冠军，也是亚洲唯一冠军得主。同时，Keen Team成为Pwn2Own比赛历史上第一支把电脑桌面操作系统和移动操作系统全部攻破的世界级安全研究团队。
支撑这只安全团队的背后是一只小而美的精英团队”，Keen Team联合创始人、首席运营官吕一平用三个二分之一”来概括他们团队的特点：二分之一是各地的历年高考状元，二分之一是数学专业，二分之一来自微软”。
而且注意，牛人强调说：通过攻破手机来操纵特斯拉，不是真正的攻破特斯拉，只是攻破了手机或者破解了手机某个漏洞，只有掌握特斯拉独有的漏洞，来进行操纵，才是真正的攻破特斯拉。
另外，杨姐还想说……
一，小白不菜读者中的VC们啊，可以注意一下这个超脑团队！
二，手机厂商、智能硬件厂商老板们，必须注意这个团队——如果未来您的智能硬件被攻破控制着干了啥，是不是会很丢脸？
三，最后就是可怜的菜心们啊小白们啊：
在黑客眼里，咱们家里的电视、摄像头，都随他们任意调用（跟《碟中谍》里一样一样的啊），常人的生活隐私在他们眼里就如同在裸奔，我们就如同砧板上的鱼肉……
现在就杨姐所知，微信的安全测试是这个团队做的最后一道测试，华为的重要机型手机和一些其他业务也正在全力引入这个团队，Keen Team首先服务了手机……别的公司杨姐好像还没听说有。倒不是说一定要这个团队做的才能放心，总之，提醒您，要有这根弦——安全跟空气一样，看不见，却不能没有！否则您就陈冠希了。
